Accessibility options

An Accessibility control sits at the lower left of every page, including the marketing site, sign-in, and the desk. Open it to change how Brokee looks on this browser. The choices are saved on this device only. They are not tied to your account, and they do not follow you to another computer until you set them there.

  • Text size. Default, Large, or Larger. Large is a modest increase. Larger is a stronger increase. Both scale the interface type.
  • Higher contrast. Darkens text and strengthens borders so type and controls stand apart from the page.
  • Reduce motion. Stops animations and transitions on this device, including when the operating system has not requested that.
  • Underline links. Draws an underline on links so they are not identified by color alone.
  • More spacing. Increases line height and letter spacing.
  • Readable font. Uses the same interface font for headlines that the rest of the product uses.

Reset clears every option on this browser. You can also clear site data in the browser to remove them.

Keyboard, focus, and screen readers

Pages are built in HTML headings, landmarks, and buttons. A "Skip to content" link is the first control when you tab from the top of a page. Focus is visible. The Accessibility panel itself is a button that opens with Enter or Space and closes with Escape.

The desk can be used with a keyboard. Menus, dialogs, and the command palette (Ctrl or Cmd K) use standard focus behavior. If a control does not announce its name, or a page traps focus, write to us with the page address and the assistive technology you use.

If your system asks for reduced motion, Brokee already shortens animations, even when the Accessibility panel’s reduce-motion switch is off.

What we aim for

Brokee aims to conform to the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2 Level AA for the pages we operate. That is a goal for design and engineering. It is not a warranty that every screen, state, or third-party surface meets that standard at all times.

Some parts of a workflow depend on other companies. Stripe checkout, MLS portals, mailbox consent screens, DocuSign, Adobe Acrobat Sign, and downloaded PDF forms are outside the Brokee interface. Their accessibility is governed by those providers. A PDF pulled from a form library may not be fully tagged.

Limits

Accessibility settings change presentation in your browser. They do not change the underlying records, and they do not create an additional contractual service level. The Terms and Conditions still apply, including the disclaimers and the limit on liability.

We do not guarantee that a particular assistive technology, browser, or older device will work with every feature. We do not guarantee uninterrupted access. Where the law requires a particular accommodation in a specific case, contact us and we will consider what is reasonable for an online business service.

Report a barrier

If you cannot use a part of Brokee, email accessibility@brokee.co. Include the page address, what you were trying to do, and the browser and assistive technology you use. We will review good-faith reports and work on barriers we can reproduce in the product we control.

A report is a request for a product fix or a practical alternative. It is not a notice of default under the Terms unless you also send it as a legal notice to the address in the Terms, and it is not an admission that the Service fails any legal standard.
